With the weather forecast to get even windier and wetter I went out to do some necessary shopping. I had to drive along the promenade in Penzance - at one stage getting a load of spray complete with seaweed blown onto the car. When I came out of the Co-op the rain had stopped, so I parked the car and took some photos. This of course was a risky business, with your intrepid photographer getting "a faceful" several times - still it's quite invigorating to see the sea like this. With gusts up to 70mph forecast together with more rain, it's not going to be a weekend for "long walkies"

It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160.
