A strange day, started off by finding that Tilly Pointer needed to go to the vets as she had been ill during the night, So after our vet visit, I called in at Marazion Marsh & took some photos of the Swan Wars. Got home and made my appointment for an X ray on my knee for the afternoon, on my way home after that I called in again at The Marsh and was pleased to see that both the Grey Herons were there and the male was fetching reeds for the nest.

I moved down the road a short distance to take a photo of a little Egret only to find that my camera battery was dead - just as a Bittern flew across a channel and into the reeds right in front of me grrrrr ! ! must buy a couple of new batteries as they seem to be losing power too quickly.

We ended the day to find that Charlie seems to have come out in sympathy and both dogs have refused a delicious looking rice and chicken dinner - we've told them we'll keep offering it to them until they eat it !
