HMS Warspite

Whilst I was checking the history of the commemorative mast in Prussia Cove I found this photo of one of the Royal Navy's most famous battleship HMS Warspite which after a fine record in World War II broke her tow on the way to the breakers yard and came aground off Prussia Cove - I gather she then drifted onto the beach in Marazion where she was broken up and I think was seen by a young Phill Deason.

  1. I hear that parts of her can still be seen at low tide and that her boilers and keel are resting on the sea bed. Any idea if this is true?
