PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

The end of yet another "Mundic" bungalow in Trebarvah - For those who have never heard of this here's a short explanation of why many of these properties are unmortgageable and are gradually being knocked down and replaced - especially those with a view like this one !
"Blocks were produced from waste rock worked from mining, quarrying and free supplies of beach gravel. The mine waste rock was of a coarse aggregate with fine mix aggregates produced from beach sand, china clay waste or mine processing residue. Some of these local materials used as aggregates in concrete construction can cause deterioration and mechanical weakening of the building form. Lack of cement can cause deterioration too."

    Cliff House was a "Mundic Block" construction too, there were cracks everywhere in the walls.

      Morning Gerd, There's certainly still quite a lot of it about - some of "grade A" which is stable and good quality, but others that need to be given special care and of course some like the little bungalow that are in a bad state and will be replaced - the South West is a tricky place to go property hunting, if you haven't done your research !
