Afternoon walkies

Just a quick walk up the hill to Trebarvah and back this afternoon - rain expected yet again and I had developed a couple of aches and pains after my "mud-slide" this morning so didn't feel like walking any further.

    1. Fortunately the mud was so thick it was quite soft - more injured pride and muddy clothes than bruises - just twisted myself a bit trying to get up - like being on an ice rink !
Sorry you've been poorly, seems to be a lot of it about since Christmas, hope you feel better soon. Sue

  2. Oh Sue, what a rotten thing to happen, so easily done given the recent weather. As you say, good job it was soft squishy mud, although that caused it. You and Jim sound like you both need to cosy up and stay indoors a bit, hard to do with the dogs though I suppose. Hope you're both fine again soon. Jane.

    1. Hi Jane, A dog walking friend had a slip & fall yesterday - we'll be taking a different route for a while !
Jim has just gone to the GP as we're concerned that his strange hot and cold - shivers etc might be something to do with the bashed thumb that might be getting infected, although he's been very careful. Sunny with heavy squally showers today - probably the same as you. Could really do with a few dry days ! Sue

  3. Oh dear! That's bad luck Sue. Hope you are not suffering too much with aches. Hope Jim is okay too.
Lovely to see that first sign of Spring in your garden. I love the perfume. Lovely colours in your morning shots.
Wish I could share some of our heat with you. 80F at 7.00am and top of 103F expected before a cool change this evening.
    Take care. Betty

    1. Crumbs Betty, that is really hot - saw the Tennis Open on TV and the problems they are having with the heat, don't know how you can manage to get anything done - I get very lethargic !
I think that the bulbs are going to start to flower earlier than last year - it was so cold then, whereas it's relatively mild still - although of course very wet. possibly a few days of slightly drier weather to come. We've got a quite a while to go before Spring is officially here ! Sue
