The view from the lower road down into the outer harbour
The angry sea washing right in
and onto the road - which of course was closed
My last shot - such a pity they're so bad - this was two waves crashing together

  1. Well, spectacular photos and waves! Porthleven always put on a show. The weather has been wild enough for me with the hole in the flat roof. I dont like to leave before the repair is done, so have my fingers crossed that the new roof will fix the leak and stop the electricity from tripping. Hate to think of a fuzzy cottage if the storage heaters stop working.

  2. Do hope you manage to get the roof sorted and that your electrics behave - as you say, the moist air can cause havoc if you have no heating. Amazing variety of "fuzzy stuff" that can grow in a Winter - been there with our little cottage many yers ago !
