Looking down to Porthmeor Beach - sadly not in the sun.
Porthmeor seems to have caught the worst of the recent storms as it faces open sea rather than the bay - and as you can see the beach level apartments have suffered some damage - surprised they would have them down there !
The beach decking outside our favourite cafe above Porthmeor beach has also been wrecked - but will be easily repaired

  1. I had lunch at the cafe in September, and it was really good. Best sardines I've had in a long while, and the server was really friendly. She told me her brother, I think it was, had something to do with the Moomaid of Zennor ice cream? Does that sound right.

    1. Yes, I think you are right about the Zennor connection. We love to go there and they are always helpful and friendly - and in such a wonderful spot. Pity so many places were closed, but there was more open than we were expecting - but it was Saturday.
Don't know if they catch Sardines off the North Coast, but of course they're out in Mount's Bay in the evenings hunting for them !
