Penzance

A quick trip into Penzance this morning - no rain as I arrived, but not long after it started to pour down and it carried on until just before dog walking time
Scillonian III out of the wet dock and waiting on Lighthouse Pier, possibly to go into the Dry Dock for her Winter overhaul - looks like a coat of paint is needed ! Looks like she's in the Dry Dock this morning as the little tug Danmark has been working there this morning - giving her a push !

  1. Hi Sue, Penzance certainly looks gloomy, but a sure sign of Spring on the way when the "Old Girl" goes into dry dock! Jane.

  2. Hi Jane, Thought she was going into dry dock in early Feb, but the road and pavement works from Harbour Car Park to Jubilee Pool to supposedly make it safer for pedestrians are about to start - knowing what so many of these new schemes are like not sure if it will turn out to be an improvement - since Ross Bridge cannot be changed and people seem to walk so close to the cars - and sometimes on the wrong side. - we'll have to wait and see - should take 6 weeks ! Sue
