Quite bright looking to the West
A few spots of rain started to fall on us as we walked down the hill
This was the sight as we got home - poor Pampas Grass fronds have had a tough Winter !
Wow ! still quite light out there at 5.30pm - we've really gained some daylight in less than a month since the shortest day.

  1. What a day of changeable weather, and that was a brilliant blue sky in the morning. Same old, same old here, but a bit cooler now thank goodness.

    1. We really have been stuck in the changeable weather, probably rain tomorrow and then rather cloudy - at least I might get some of the jobs done that I've been putting off !
Glad you're a bit cooler - still no rain in the mountains ? Sue

  2. Nope, none in the forecast. it could be the first January for a while with no rain - thanks to a giant high pressure system sitting over the west coast and forcing the storms up to Alaska.
