Thursday

The day started off quite well, with lots of blue sky and some sunshine - sadly as I sat at the PC it went downhill - no broadband again - it's been very on and off since before Christmas, but we could manage with it - this morning it was just not connecting at all and the phone line is so noisy you can't use that either - BT Openreach say the problem is somewhere up the lane and they will need traffic lights - that needs a site survey, which should take place on Jan. 14th - then they might try to repair it within the next few weeks  Grrr !   I've managed to get my Vodaphone mobile broadband dongle that I used on Scilly to work using the new laptop - meantime I'm still paying for Talk Talk broadband - not great !
Mousehole in the pink of the sunrise this morning
It's been a while since we've seen any cargo vessels in the bay - here Arklow Rambler is arriving to anchor near Newlyn
Her course  before she arrived in Mount's Bay. Wonder what happened to cause that kink SW of Scilly
