After taking away our sand the heavy seas seem to have either removed the stones at the back of the beach or covered them up
The stones at the back of the beach had built up to quite a height and they don't seem to be there now - leaving the cliffs even more vulnerable

  1. My goodness, who lives in that house so close to the cliff edge? That would be very worrying if this type of weather becomes the norm.

    1. That's Cliff House Lynn - it's alongside the Cabin Beach Cafe. Believe it or not it's only a couple of years old - re-built on the site of an old Mundic house. It stands on loads of piles that were driven into the ground, but I suspect that if we get more Winters like this one even those won't save it. Not sure if anyone actually lives there - would have been terrifying during the worst of the weather. Sue
