Hope this was the last storm - for a while !

Well, it's been a horrendous day - the wind did not abate and high tide has brought more flooding and damage all around Mount's Bay.
Lots of videos and photos on

  1. Thanks Sue for the link.Unbelievable pictures.....the BBC managed a fleeting glimpse of Newlyn !! When is it going to end ? Very windy here but nothing compared to others....and we are dry. I see Porthcressa and Old Town have taken a battering as have the whole of Scilly....lots of repairs to do.No planes and I see the Gry wasn't able to sail either.swc certainly keeps us all in touch.Keep safe and thank you.macca.

    1. \it really did turn out to be a really big storm - sadly the waves were crashing onto so much that had already been damaged - will probably be lots of photos of the day after !
We missed the locasl news last night due to the power cut - - rather comically my biggest decision of the day has been whether I would dare to wash my hair - it being rather long I really need a working hair dryer - I was just about to start this morning when off it went again for around an hour. back on again now.
Sea has calmed down far more than we were expecting - but still some showers around this morning. Will be off out for a walk this afternoon as there should be less showers then. Sue
