PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.
Lovely that you had a beautiful spring day, and the flowers and wildlife seemed to appreciate it too. I so wish I had a beautiful place to walk to and sit and enjoy the sea view. It is a 10 minute car ride here to the beach in La Jolla, but then there are always so many people around that you can never feel solitary. I am curious about the horse and carriage. Was there any particular reason such as a wedding or anniversary, as I saw there were flowers decorating it?
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to coming over some time soon, but right now the kitchen and bathroom are out of action with the remodel, so I will have to wait a bit to see the cottage in all its glory. Our hour changes tonight, so lighter evenings now which is a sure sign that summer is on its way.
We do love our views and the wonderful walks we have in every direction - it's why we came to live here and we try to make the most of them.
ReplyDeleteHad not seen the horse and carriage before, so no idea where they were from, looked rather lovely with the flowers and handsome horse with everyone all dressed up.
We're expecting the fine weather to last for a few days, although there will be a cool breeze here on the South Coast - we're still enjoying the relative quiet of the out of season months - no queues on the roads etc. We don't of course enter British Summer Time until the last Sunday in the month, but the evenings are already much lighter and I don't get to see the sun rise any more - it's already up before me !
Hope the remodeling goes well - I'm working hard to get our guest accommodation ready for Easter - lots to do !
