Monday

Just happened to spot Scillonian III passing across Mount's Bay in front of us this morning - having cancelled her trip to Scilly due to the weather  - I assumed at first she was heading for Falmouth for shelter, but she went over towards The Lizard and sheltered close in to Mullion
As you can see it would have been a nasty trip to Scilly and she's such an old lady now, they need to take care of her. She returned to Penzance just before 6pm ready to go tomorrow !
Where she spent the day !

  1. Nice pictures Sue. Surprise they don't make more of Newlyn for shelter.

    1. Never seem to do they - perhaps it has silted up somewhat. Real surprise this morning almost missed her in the mist and rain - just saw something as she passed the Tanker that had been at anchor - checked through the 'scope and grabbed the camera.
