PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Wooster enjoying a run on this huge area of grass by the car park - we used to wonder why it wasn't used as a football pitch etc.
But I think you can see why !  I seems to be just a thin layer of soil on top of rock, since it is frequently totally waterlogged - didn't seem to bother Wooster though !

    What a lovely post! it made me very homesick though, but I may be over shortly. I have only had Rick Stein's fish and chips once and thought they were very good. Other people seem to like Harbour Lights fish and chips better, but I am not sure if that is because Rick Stein is high profile so a bit of reverse snobbery. I must look for the set menu option another time as the ginger sponge sounds a real treat.
    I can't believe how many primroses there were, and I love those. It is a sure sign of spring when the walls and hedges have primroses blooming. one of my favourite walks from the cottage to Maenporth takes you down a primrose lane until you meet the woods.
    Lovely pictures as always, Sue, especially of those of Carrick Roads to St Mawes. I will have to get a better camera I've decided now.

      It's been far too long since we went to Falmouth, we usually go more in the Winter - but of course the storms put us off ! The Rick Stein's Fish is not the full posh restaurant - the two courses were only £12-95 . We like it as the batter is a little lighter than Harbour Lights, but like both - we shouldn't really have lunch - it really seems to knock us out - and we only had Elderflower Presse to drink ! The Primroses were quite un-expected as they were the first we'd seen and as you say spectacular. We love the coastline all around The Carrick Roads and down towards The Helford - I suppose it's the right time to visit Trebah, but we're short on time at the moment - pity.
      My poor camera has suffered so much during the Winter in all the salt spray and rain, I've posted it off to a camera repairer to hopefully be cleaned and sorted - meanwhile I've got the previous Panasonic out and hope that it behaves as it had got rather temperamental which is why it was replaced.
      So pleased that you enjoy the photos, we do enjoy taking them to show to like minded folk who love Cornwall.
