At last !

Cornish culture and identity have been given a protected status under a European convention for minority nations.
Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Danny Alexander, will today announce that Cornish history, language and culture are now protected under the 1998 European Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities bill.
The decision has put Cornish heritage in line with the legal recognition afforded to Scottish, Welsh and Irish cultures.

    1. Well, we are almost separated from the rest of the UK by The Tamar - great for the true Cornish People who are so proud of their heritage - and rightly so.
Another good day today - lots of photos to sort out ! Sue
