Afternon walkies

I'm afraid the view was much the same as yesterday, we're still in this run of showers - looks like most of them are out to the West again
Lovely big Tree Mallow growing by the side of the footpath - wish these would seed into the garden
Really exotic looking flowers
Lots of birds sheltering from the wind on The Greeb
Tanker Aksaz C turned around to face Mousehole today

  1. I think we have self seeding tree mallows in a deep purple in our front garden. The seeds look similar to what I've looked at on line. I'll try to rescue some this year. I'll post a picture on Facebook for you to have a look at.

    1. They are nice aren't they - don't think ours ever seeded in Leics. We see tiny ones that are in the same family but low on the ground and smaller flowers. I suppose I ought to try to get some seeds from the one in the photo, since they don't seem to come our way Sue

  2. Try a cutting from the one in the photo, shouldn't be a problem, but seeds would definately work. Lovely late lunch in the Peppercorn today, didn't hang around for the rain to go away, we were already very wet. Sorry we missed Wooster & Tilly

    1. Will try a cutting and also keep an eye out for any seeds - although "strimmer man" might cut it down as it is within the National Trust area - need to find on outside that area as I don't think there'll be much cutting done elsewhere !
Pleased that you managed to get down - and have lunch - sadly still raining here at 8.45pm - had to abandon the idea of a barbecue. Have gone to plan B on the Pirate outfit as there might be showers or worse ! Wooster & Tilly just got a very short walkies this afternoon - they didn't mind, they don't like rain !
