  5. The event you remember was Golowan - happens every year in June - a whole week of events. The last time they did the Pirates on the Prom -2011 it was held at the end of Golowan week. For some reason they decided to hold it today - which is of course a Bank Holiday and half term week - weather wasn't kind - two really bad patches of heavy rain which lasted a long time due to the clouds moving so slowly. We had a good day, but sadly failed to beat the record by 77 - mind you there was 14,155 which is a great effort on a day when the weather may well have put quite a few off ! Great (crowd) training for Wooster Sue
