Sunday

We set off with Alfie Hicks to head for the Norrad Rocks looking for Puffins and Seals - the wind had got up a bit and the boat was rocking and rolling so taking photos was not easy
We were lucky to see so many Puffins, others have done the same trip and not seen any
It clouded over this evening, but as we walked the dogs the setting sun started to sink below the cloud. The vessel is the Border Agency ship Protector
Down it went - with quite an audience up on The Garrison watching

  3. The weather looks wonderful right now, so I hope we won't get bad weather when we arrive. It does seem to go in good and bad spells. Lucky you to see puffins. I have never ever seen one and would love to.

    1. We have been so lucky with the weather and it may well last for quite a while.
We were really lucky to see the Puffins as it would appear that they suffered in the storms out at sea and others on the same trip days earlier had not seen any.
