Wednesday - What a week we're having !

After seeing on Mike's facebook page that HMS Illustrious had come into Mount's Bay last night, when I woke up at just after 6am I thought I'd take a look to see if I could see her, There she was still at anchor off Mousehole, so I nipped out onto the balcony to take a shot in case she had gone by the time I got up.
But at 8am there she was - in the sunshine
After heavy rain overnight it was quite a nice if breezy morning
I quickly gave the dogs their breakfasts and went back onto the balcony to see that she was just turning around
You can now see all the Merlin Helicopters usually based at RNAS Culdrose. This major exercise is in order that they can practice  working from a vessel rather than land
Off she went in the sunshine and I could get my breakfast !
