Afternoon walkies

After all the showers during the day, we decided not to go too far from home, so walked up towards Ednovean. As you can see, with the showers coming from North to South, it was looking as if the far side of the bay was going to get the next lot
The Teasels are all flowering and the bees love them
Looking rather dramatic
Looking much brighter down in Perranuthnoe Churchtown
Jim's panorama of Mount's Bay this afternoon
Gry Maritha heading out of Mount's Bay on a stripey sea
As we walked around the old bulb field the cloud bank was moving quite fast
Thought I knew what this was when I took the photo, but it wasn't what I thought. Quite a big clump of it in the middle of the field - over to you Kathy ?

  3. Agree with Trixi, looking at other photo's on line, but still can't think of the common name. Apparently very good for boosting energy,;-)))) hope your feeling better Sue after your tummy bug.

  4. Trixi and Kathy, well done - I think ! In my book they call it Lucern Alfalfa (Medicago Sativa) but most of the photos seem to be a bit purple whereas this was very blue - did find some photos online that were blue. Strange I've not seen it before - on a field that is covered in Clover and my favourites - Chicory. Will try to find it again and get a better shot. Sue
