Going, going, gone !

This wooden hut (with wonderful Mount views) went to Auction yesterday, with a guide price of £25,000 - needless to say it went for a bit more - £235,000 to be precise !  Evidently bought by a local gentleman who wants it - or it's replacement to be his office !  Evidently there were many disappointed people there - Homes under the Hammer were filming, so it may eventually appear on a future program

  1. Wow ! do you think he'll need someone to make the tea ! We have just had a beautiful hare in the garden a first ...we often see them in the field at the back but never in the garden....he just sat looking at us then loped off ! Lovely photo's wonderful views thanks so much for sharing Sue.macca

  2. Not sure how much work you'd get done with a view like that - I know that I often sit at the PC, but have my eyes on the view !
Sadly I've never knowingly seen a Hare and I'm told I would recognise the difference. Perhaps - one day ! Sue

  3. Does the shed come with land around it as that is a staggering price for a pulldown?
So nice to see the blue skies and people enjoying the beach quite late in the evening. That is one of the things I will never get used to in SoCal - how it is dark at 8pm in July. Such a waste of summer evenings which were my favorite time of day in the UK.

    1. Comes with a little land around it - and obviously I assume the right of access with a vehicle - although you'd need a 4x4 since it's farm track.
We've lost quite a few minutes of daylight since it's just over a month since the longest day - but when the sky is clear it still a lovely long evening ! Sue
