Afternoon walkies

Haven't seen the girls up here for a while
Looks like it's nearly paddling time on The Causeway
We carried on after Trenow again as it was such a lovely warm evening
Yep ! I think it really is paddling time !
Lovely shimmering sea this evening
As we walked round Maen-dhu Point we passed a family who were taking the opportunity of checking their phones - as it gets really good reception there.
Still plenty of people down on the beach

  1. Maen-du-point is the ideal place for a signal. How stuipid are people not checking the tide times. First thing I do when we are down is look at the tide book. We have an island you can walk to at low tide on the Forth. They've ended up putting warnings about the tide and being cut off, since the coastguard was getting too many shouts.

    1. I think some people think it's fun to paddle there - no boats around at that time to ferry them ! We're almost at the "Silly Season" now - the number of people that have to be rescued from the coast close to Porthcurno you wouldn't believe - they have even been told not to keep walking as they won't be able to get back - but they carry on - and get stuck - Lifeboat & Helicopter needed !
Looks like we're going to get wet tomorrow - it's been a while !
