PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Just before 1pm and I went up to Oamaru Barn to await the BT engineer who was coming to pu the line in.
Nice clear view of the castle and you can just about see lots of people on the balconies
There he is - up the pole !  It all went very well, and 15 minutes after it was all done, the wi-fi was on and working  - proper job !
The cloud then cleared and we had a lovely sunny afternoon

    Just caught up on all your posts from Friday as my husband took me on a surprise trip to Mexico for my birthday. I looked at the letting details of the barn online too. People sometimes ask me about places to stay in England, so I will try to send some your way. It is typical that the weather deteriorated as the school holidays start, especially as it is such a short summer holiday compared to three months here. However no long Christmas or Easter hols here, or half terms, so guess that is why.

      Mexico sounds like a wonderful birthday surprise !
      MNaged to get 5 weeks booked at Oamaru so far, which wasn't bad considering we didn't get the keys until July 7th, but it will get harder from now on !
      Very busy in Cornwall at the moment - made more so by the ruling that school children must not be taken out of school for a holiday - people used to get away with it - not any more ! So it crams all the holidaymakers with children into the 5/6 weeks in the Summer - not great for hotels etc. 3 months sounds like a long time - long enough to forget everything you learned in the last year !
