PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.
Looks a lovely festival....Cornwall certainly know's how to do them ! we love harbours and always walk to Newlyn....Mousehole is a step to far !! Torrential rain yesterday part of the village was flooded....and my poor delphiniums !! never mind we have started picking our own tomatoes and runner bean almost ready ! hope all is going well at the cottage.thanks Sue.macca
ReplyDeleteWe were soo lucky on Sunday - weather was rather cloudy & damp Saturday and mainly cloudy on Monday ! Mousehole is such a lovely place and they always get a super turnout whatever the weather - as we drove out towards Newlyn we couldn't believe the number of cars parked all along the road - we always try to get there early to get into the car park. Had to pay more this year as they have a machine !

They keep forecasting rain here, but it doesn't seem to amount to much - garden could do with some !
Jim is jealous of your Runner Beans as he loves them - bought some from Sainsbury's yesterday and at least they were grown in Hampshire not Kenya etc !
Sky was installed at Oamaru and a telephone line by the end of the month as everyone likes to have broadband these days - hope they realise they don't get "town" speeds here ! One more shopping trip to do - to Trago in Falmouth for a rug and bits and pieces, then it done - just hope we find a few bookings after all that work ! Sue
