PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

The Old Vicarage, St Clement nr. Truro

I've tried to grow these Echinops (thanks Kathy !)  but without much success

  1. Re plant, Echinops (globe thistle) beautiful plant, have another go Sue at growing them,every garden should have at least one;-)) Great photo's of the river and wildlife, we try to make weekly visit there.

    1. Did have a good look round to make sure you weren't there !
      Didn't think I'd got the plant right - to tired - Truro is exhausting on a hot day - not used to all the noise and people ! Had to come home and order most of what I wanted online anyway he he ! Amazing to think that I used to shop in the first Dunelm Mill in Leicester and now they're all the way down here !
      Will have to give the Echinops another go - need one that isn't too tall, or it will get blown over ! Sue

  2. I took photos of exactly the same flower at Charles Darwin's home the other week and thought I'd like to have a go at growing them. Didn't have a clue what they were called though so you have helped me. Thanks.
