PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

The secret life of a Wren

Not very often you get to see a Wren for more than a second, this is possibly a youngster - in a hedge
At the time we couldn't see exactly what it was doing - but if you look closely you can see it is trying to pull the green caterpillar  off the plant
Really made us smile, it was trying so hard - just not heavy or strong enough
Bless !
In the end it gave up and disappeared into the hedge !

  1. Ha love those pictures of the wren. They are the birds I've been trying to photograph for ages and which I got eventually feeding it's young. Love your photos. Missed his lunch though :)

    1. We have a Wren that lives somewhere in the garden - suspect they have several nests, but we only get fleeting glimpses and then get shouted at ! Never seen them with any young - Huge numbers of them on Scilly this year.
