Thunder & lightening, very very frightening !

As I'm posting the photos we have thunder and lightening which is from the South, so it looks like it's where the heaviest rain is (pink & white)
These are the lightening strikes - fortunately only one really big crack of thunder to scare the dogs !

  1. Yug! It doesn't look good. Poor Tilly & Wooster. It's been hot up here. Mid 20's. Not looking forward to the rain, when it comes our way- just in time for the weekend!

    1. Worst thunder storm we've had for many years - amazing to see the lightening over the sea - I turned down the lights and sat & watched it. Jim slept through the lot ! Hmm !
Hope it's much weaker by the time it gets to you ! Sue

  2. Kind of wish I was there to watch. It would have been beautiful I imagine. It's been dry here, some spits and spots on the way home. I've been so busy at work today I didn't have a chance to look out the window

    1. It was spectacular - sheet and fork lightening and so very close together - looks like the expected one tonight is much further along the coast - so all quiet. Sue
