Thursday

We were not really expecting much sunshine today, but the sky cleared and as you can see it was rather nice
I sat at the dinner table to have a cup of coffee and enjoy the view - hopefully some visitors will be able to enjoy it soon as well !

  1. Fingers crossed, we will be two of those visitors next year, doesn't look as though we will make it this year. Love the view, something for us to look forward to. Great skies down your way today. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Hi Sue, YES, we certainly got the storm as well here, probably slept for about an hour last night, but the lightning was spectacular. Will look forward to your holiday details to share amongst our friends and family, I have already spread the word;-))
A gloomy morning here, thick fog and everywhere extremely still, looks like it's going to be doing jobs indoors today for us and the Mum's.

    1. Jim was asleep on the sofa all through the storm only stirring for a moment when a big crack of thunder had the dogs jumping up and running around for a minute - it was hard work drilling though that granite !
It has brightened up a bit here now, but still feels a little damp.
Possibly more thunder and lightening tonight ? Sue

    1. I gather from one or two on facebook who were on board that it wasn't a bad crossing at all - just the wind blowing the water all over SCIII - wish I'd taken a video at one point when it was just flash bang flash bang continuously - quite amazing to see from the comfort of home ! Expect you are very warm today - think we're just a little cooler ! Sue
