Fireworks on St Michael's Mount

We walked to Trenow (along with a large number of people in cars and on foot) to watch the Fireworks over St Michaels Mount to celebrate 60 years of partnership with The National Trust.
Here's just a few for now - I took 465 - as the only was to get anything is to just keep firing away on burst shots
Love this one as you can see The Mount as well !  Will go through them and do some more tomorrow.

  1. Thank you for the wonderful firework photos. The first one you posted makes the Mount look like Vesuvius erupting! Looking forward to seeing more when you have time. Kathy P

    1. Thankyou Kathy, I was amazed they came out as well as they did. Fortunately they were so bright I think the camera though it was daylight !
Chaos all around Marazion and lots of cars down at Trenow and tucked into every gateway - we walked the dogs back around the coast for a way - rather than get mowed down by the cars. The we saw the moon come up over Greeb House - magical !

    1. Rather sad that BBC Spotlight did a big piece on the Fireworks competition in Plymough but not a word about Mount's Bay. Think the pet owners would have appreciated the fact that they were not really loud with lots of big bangs - we took Wooster & Tilly with us - no problem at all and they enjoyed the extra "walkies" back along the coast in the moonlight.

  6. Thank you, Sue and Jim, again for all these wonderful pictures.Too sad that we couldn't stay a week longer to see the fireworks, but we had a great time in the village and on the beach. Counting the days till we return.

    1. Realised you had gone as we walked past your usual parking spot - time goes all to quickly. Have you spotted that you and friends are on one of the Flats and Sharps night at The Cabin ? Jim was standing on the wall behind you !
The Fireworks were quite a sight and I think we chose a good spot to view as although it was busy - we got a really good view ! Sue
