Morning walkies

All sorts of vessels out in the bay - yachts heading East, the Danish tanker Oraholm which is at anchor - awaiting orders - and right on the horizon the huge Cable Layer Resolute still hanging about right out towards Wolf Rock Lighthouse after laying the new Fibre Optic Cable over to St Mary's IOS
Jim took the dogs to the fields above Trenow
The Maize seems to have had a growth spurt
The Corn Cobs are forming
Super views from these fields

    1. I presume that by up-North you mean lovely North Norfolk !
The sad thing about the Agapanthus is that they used to be spectacular - 30 or 40 flowers - think it might need splitting as it's obviously a very old very big clump ! Another job for Jim - he just got the lawn mowed before a heavy shower - rained a lot during the night - could almost hear the garden sighing with relief !
As for the garage - it's huge as it's right under the house and it has been filled with unwanted furniture etc ever since we arrived and sold the previous house - we've bought some staging and then realised how bad part of the floor was, so we need man and cement mixer ! - but we really must do it - there's room for another car in there - if only !

York ! and the previous sunday we did an all day train special leaving at 4.15 and arriving home at 2.45 !!!!! never again went as far as Berwick and supposed to have two hours on Lindisfarne which turned out to be forty minutes, left at Bamburgh for two and a quarter hours in blistering weather .Lovely scenery from the train and the catering was good.....but never ever again.Coming to Cornwall is a doddle ! macca

    1. Oh heck, that sound like a bit of a nightmare ! Such a pity - could have been such a good - if very long day. Very ambitious for us mature folk - I almost need a day to recover from a day out - and the heat can be very tiring. Looks like we're in for a rough weekend - such a pity that the weather has broken when Cornwall is full to bursting - due to everybody with children having to holiday at the same time. Sue
