Afternoon walkies

We'd had an amazing warm and sunny afternoon and even at 5pm it was still warm enough not to need a coat as we walked East up the hill. As you can see - unfortunately the fog was still lingering out to the West.
Seemed to be more young cattle on the field - they've put some fencing and a crush on the field - for innoculating them I assume.  Fortunately they were all very calm and never even looked up as we walked along the path.
Acton Castle with the West wall Virginia Creeper having turned red - showing that Autumn really is here !
Surfers down again - although the waves have dropped off now

    1. Oh dear ! I'd not wanted to mention them as it was rather upsetting - When we got back from Scilly we thought they were just in the bottom field, but later we were told that Indie had become very ill and the vet had no alternative but to recommend her being put-down and since Purdie was so old and had lived with Indie for so long the owner took the difficult decision to have them both go together. We really miss seeing them as they were such a lovely pair of gentle souls. Sue
