Hell's Mouth

We then drove home via the North Coast Road and stopped off at Hell's Mouth for me to take a couple of photos
As I took this one I heard some voices and was amazed to see a couple sitting part way down the cliff
They must have scrambled down there and had got their flask of tea out. From my point of view I could see that they were sitting right at the top of a large crack in the rock !

  1. We are sat here looking at this photo of the couple on the rocks, our mouths wide open, how stupid are they. Must have been quite frightening for you to see. However, hope they got back safely. Love the beach cafe at Perranporth, saw the sun set from there two weeks ago, it was magical. Thank you Sue for the wonderful photo's, pleased to see you and yours had a relaxing day today.

  2. Didn't want to go any closer to the edge to see how the couple had got down there - ot how they would get back ! It was them calmly pouring out tea from a flask that made me sort of smile ! They had binoculars so I assume they were bird watching - although I couldn't see anything at all. It was a good day - Perranporth isn't for everyone, but we like it at this time of year - although it was much busier than usual - the huge beach is so amazing for the dogs to have a good dash about. Would love to see the sunset from there must be amazing. Sue
