Falmouth Oyster Festival

Lovely and sunny in Falmouth and the harbour was really calm
Through the masts is Royal Fleet Auxilliary vessel Mount's Bay - her sister ship RFA Argus is just passing South of us now on her way to Falmouth and will then leave tomorrow for Sierra Leone
RFA Argus  has a fully-equipped hospital including critical care and high-dependency units, along with three Merlin helicopters,
The high Spring tides have made a mess of the slipways
 Well attended cookery demonstration
The "native" Falmouth Oysters - raw and just with lemon - Jim has tried the raw ones quite a few times, but has given up as he prefers them cooked !
It wasn't all Oysters lots of other food & drink and craft ware as well
Jon Cleave from the shanty singing Fisherman's Friends from Port Isaac selling his books !
