Thursday

The Church Tower up in the mist as I walked the dogs this morning - Jim had gone up to Truro to visit his dentist as he'd been in agony with an abscess - The dentist lanced it (rather painful I gather) and he returned later in much less pain - the worst pain being - No Alchohol while he's taking the anti-biotics !
Not often we have a "no Mount" Day

With nothing to use as a refernce I've no idea if this is straight, but I suspect not
 Really misty along the beach
Looking a bit better as I drank my coffee at The Cabin
No better this afternoon - we had gone out early as we could see it would get dark quickly

  1. Oh dear, poor Jim, I can sympathise with him. I once had a tooth abscess on Christmas Eve and had to wait until after Christmas to get it sorted. As for the alcohol, I'm just coming to the end of "Sober for October". Never been so glad to see November approaching! Jane .

  2. Jim seems to be prone to absceses - he had one a couple of years ago just as we were off to Scilly - although he'd got some anti-biotics his face swelled up over the first night there and the Dentist on St Mary's was superb - gave hime stronger tablets and came in on Saturday to check him over - and all on the NHS
I could have done the "Sober for October" bit I'd be cheating as I don't drink - my body just can't take it - don't go too mad on 1st November ! ! Sue
