Afternoon walkies

The late afternoons seems to be following a pattern - dark clouds looming as we walked the dogs
Not sure why this vessel with an unpronounceable name Ijsseldijk came into the bay, but it turned and went straight back out and onwards round Lands End

  1. Morning Sue! If you try to speak the dutch Ij or ij like a long i (like in ice) it's not so unpronounceable. Ijssel is a dutch river and dijk means dike, the bank that protects the land from sea or river. Thank's for all those lovely photos.

    1. Thanks for the explanation of the name - I nearly chickened out and just called it Apollo which was written on the side !
Although I much prefer Summer, I do love the drama of the Winter skies and seas - hopefully not as dramatic as last Winter. Sue
