Friday

A fine start to Friday, but it wasn't long before the shower clouds appeared

Many thanks for all the messages of support - I received another message from my complainants asking me to re-publish all of the comments that upset me - sorry but they have all been deleted and are gone forever and I wouldn't re-publish them anyway. I have also removed my post of last night.
Sadly that means all your lovely messages are gone as well !

It would all have been so much easier if people had used the email address that is listed on the top of the blog at the moment then this could all have been handled in private.

I would far rather draw a line under this and carry on as before - posting photographs of our lovely village and the surrounding walks.

On 16 February 2011, there were over 156 million public blogs in existence and this is just one of them

There won't be any photos this evening as we're off to Rick Steins in Porthleven to give it a try with Jim's sister & her husband - obviously I'll let you know how we get on.

  5. Glad to see business as usual.
I went to Porthleven the day before I left and looked in the windows of the new Rick Stein restaurant which looked quite unfinished. They must have put a spurt on. I have been to one in Padstow - not the very expensive one, but the medium priced one, and thought the food was very good. Also had the fish and chips in Falmouth too. I hope it takes off as Porthleven could do with a shot in the arm on that side of the harbour. I was surprised they were still working on repairs there on Oct 30th, so I do hope the recent bad weather has not compromised that.
