Friday

Yet again rain was expected very soon as I dashed up the hill with the dogs

Managed to reach the top of the field and walk around the edge - in the dry
 Beach still there !
Back down the hill - I was quite surprised that it was still dry
Another dog walker out on Maen-dhu Point - not a great time of year for us dog walkers
As I walked past the Hottentot Figs on the wall at the bottom of the garden I noticed this one in flower - really brightened my day !

  2. Think the plants must be getting confused as we had such a mild Autumn. We've only got bulb leaves showing and when I went out to try to get a photo of the sunrise my shoes were crunching on the balcony slabs can only think it was ice. Your Soleidor must think they're on Scilly !
Should be a nice day here - after one last shower ! Sue

  3. Just catching up with your blog of the last few days. Isn't nature wonderful, hottentot fig have their own beauty. The photo of Jim's view across to Penzance and the coast with the lights glistening is beautiful, and the photo of the sunsetting on the path down to the coast has got to be a possibility for the 2016 calendar surely.;-)) All your photo's are great, you are so lucky having such wonderful sunsets down your way, sadly we don't see them here, just a lovely glow in the sky at times. Enjoyed the beautiful sunrise this morning though, and yes our conservatory roof had a slight frost on it this morning. THANKS SO MUCH

    1. We really do love our Winter sunsets - it almost makes up for the wet weather.
I went out onto the balcony - which has a slebbed surface and it crunched this morning, so I think it was also a fine layer of ice. Rest of the day has been warm and wonderful - just going to look at the photos. Sue
