Late afternoon Scillonian returning to Penzance

Scillonian III appearing as she passes Mousehole
Lovely sunlight on St Michael's Mount
Gry Maritha approaching
As we see the Penzance Harbour sunset !
 In she comes
Straight into the wet dock where she does a quick turn
and is soon off loading - Obviously no time to re-paint her name on the side.
Looks a bit of a joke - need another HA !
 Not long after SCIII approaching
In she comes  on a much higher tide than the one she left on
The usual backwards & forwards before she's just right - then - gangplank
and off they came - quite a number of passengers leaving the Islands after their holidays
and down to the usual luggage melee

  1. Hi Sue, great pics of the last passenger sailing for 2014. Couldn't make it down this year, so many thanks for your busy day with the camera and sharing with all us Scillonian III fans! Jane.

    1. Don't think even you and Chris would have enjoyed the outwards trip Jane - very rough indeed. The engle that I saw her rear up when watching through the Scope when I got home was as bad as I've seen it - I suspect that if it hadn't been the last sailing and a Saturday with lots of people both going home to Scilly and heading home after holidays they wouldn't have gone ! Still I enjoyed watching it all ! Sue
