Morning walkies

Jim took the dogs up the hill & took this shot looking over the village to The Mount
It was only as I was editing it that I noticed that the guys that were painting Bitumen onto the foundations for the new house had been having fun !
Really nice blue sky this morning

So nice to walk in some sunshine - we've missed it recently !

    1. Sounds like you've had some super weather - sadly we just had fog and mist - followed yesterday by wind and rain - the sea is quite noisy this morning. Our Palm trees are dropping all their dead leaves onto the lawn at the moment and the Hydrangeas are doing the same - we're trying a different height of ptuning this Winter to see if it encourages more flowers next year. Garden helper Rob was instructed to pull every Michaelmas Daisy he could find as they have spread everywhere and were not much to look at.
The bulbs are showing in the garden wall up at Oamaru goodness knows how they grow at all - just can't dig at all - needed a hammer and chisel to dig - might try now it's rained. Will post Calendar on Monday. Sue
