PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Saturday - Trereife House Food & Craft Fair & Mousehole

 Sunrise this morning and the day was looking promising - one short shower but then it was sun all the way
Looking over towards Mousehole the landing craft Arromanches was just passing on her way to Scilly and I could no longer see into The Harbour - the baulks were in place of which more later !
 Lovely colours this morning
 We made our way the Trereife House where there was a Food & Craft Fair
 We were quite early so not that many people there yet
 Rather more craft than food this time
 The band were playing Christmas Carols to add atmosphere
 This lady was spinning wool on a very modern wheel - love her little dog in it's lovely knitted coat
 A young lady keen to throw a pot
 A Winter flowering Camellia
 From a distance I thought the red leaves were flowers - but when we got closer I could see it was one of the Ipomoea convolvulaceae  - one of the Convulvulus family - I think ! ! - it was climbing through a Camellia bush -
 Another one that was pale yellow or white
Saw this bud first - looks like it's about to flower
 Looks like a big Magnolia
Nice views over the gardens

      Hi Kathy, sorry - due to the recent problems with the blog, comments don't appear until I've seen them - just in case !
      Thanks for the Cup & Saucer Plant identification I had a quick look, but couldn't find anything that matched exactly.
      Really enjoyed our day - especially as the weather was so good. So pleased that you enjoyed the photos - Mike's boat came out safely later in the afternoon and is now stored up on the side of the harbour - he's happy now - no more pumping out rainwater ! Sue

    So pleased to sit and view all your wonderful photo's on such a miserable day ! Jim's panorama is stunning ! it was wet and nasty all day yesterday rained all night and it's still doing it !! even had the lights on to cook lunch ! It was our village Christmas fair yesterday....did my usual four dozen cheese scones ! not very seasonal but they seem to sell.Well I shall have another viewing and get on with the Christmas puddings ! thankyou Sue macca

      Such a pity your day was so bad - our rain passed over during the night - I forgot to say that I think there was ice on the balcony yesterday morning - after a clear sky night.
      I'm sure your cheese scones went down well - really must start to think about Christmas soon. Sue
