  3. With kind permission of Lord St Levan, my parents ashes were buried in the gardens close to the wishing-well on St Michaels Mount – so your stunning photographs of the Mount are truly special. So pleased to read that its business as usual – thank you. Look forward to catching up over Christmas. Kind regards, Ian

    1. What a wonderful place for your parents ashes to be buried - I'm sure it meant a lot.
Seen several "compassionate" trips out into the bay recently made by the Penlee Lifeboat - very good of them. Christmas seems to be approaching fast - the TV adverts are full of it over here - driving me mad ! Sue

    1. The Porthleven blue lighting is a bit much - Rick Stein has come into the business, but it's being run in exactly the same way - surprised that they think the garish lighting doesn't need toning down a bit.
All the recent rain has been horrible and depressing - arrived this afternoon from behind the house so we hadn't spotted the massive cloud until it was too late - dogs not happy ! Sue
