Instead of just getting dark, the sky then started to get more colour
and it just got better and better - although I'm not sure that it was this bright, but that's what the camera saw
The lower dark cloud still moving across
The it started to lose the colour

  1. That sky is just amazing in the depth of colours. I had to chuckle at seeing the dogs with their new toys, and particularly the tug of war over the fox. I hope you had a good Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and that not too much food was left over. We overestimated, and I am trying to make stock and use up veggies.
You seemed to have good weather on the actual day and it was lovely to see people surfing and horse riding. My youngest one went surfing a few times this week too whilst here from San Francisco. She said the water was quite warm.

  2. Not too much food left - we always send Nick home with a "care package" of Turkey, Gammon, Lemon Meringue Pie and Smoked Salmon ! Dog toys are still intact - we've been giving them to them for a couple of hours each day, to try to stop Wooster chewing them !
Very cold & clear this morning, should be a fine day - but a lot colder than you !
