PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Afternoon walkies for Wooster

We collected Tilly from the Vets - but have to go back tomorrow for the results of her x-rays and since she was still a bit wobbly, Jim took Wooster out for a toddle. Some of areas that had not been in the sun were still frozen solid

 After so much sunshine it was a pity that this cloud arrived just at the wrong time

    Lovelly photos Sue, hope Tilly's X-Ray results are OK, fingers crossed. Wooster does look lost without her! Your severe frost has at least firmed up the footpaths temporarily. Spectacular pheasant, looks like one of my refugees I feed here in the garden (they take sanctuary from the local shoot!). Kathy P.

      Hi Kathy, Tilly's much more like herself today, the x-ray showed that she must have bashed her foot and has a small fragment of bone that has dislodged from one of the very fine bones of the foot. She's got some different tablets and we shall just have to wait and see whether it is going to continue to bother her - she's back to the Vets next week. Sadly we don't get Pheasants around home now we used to hear them in the field behind the house - suppose the fox got them. Lovely birds and their call gets an instant response from the dogs ! Sue

    So depressing when a pet is not up to snuff, and I hope that you get some positive news from the vet today.

      Tilly much better today thanks Lynn, we'll just have to see if the anti-inflamatories help enough for us to be able to leave well alone - an operation might do more damage than it solves and she's quite old for that kind of thing ! Sue
