PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Afternoon walkies

 It was such a lovely afternoon, so we decided to walk down Boat Cove Lane, where we could see that the first lot of potatoes are snuggled under polythene
 No idea what was going on in Marazion, but we could hear "marching band" type drums and there was a crowd gathered below The Godolphin Hotel

 Nice to see the dogs without their coats on - looking like a "push me pull me" dog !

 We'd had surfers in the water all day and as fast as some came out more were arriving





 Walking back up through the fields towards home
 and suddenly saw a large pale bird ahead of me - it was the Barn Owl again, sadly this time I was not in a good spot to get photos
 My camera was focussing on all the wrong things as it flew towards me
 Sun causing red eyed Barn Owl !
 Then it flew off over our next door neighbours house
 I was busy looking at photos and missed any sunset we had
Huge bank of cloud from the North covered the lovely clear sky

    Those are brilliant photos of the Barn Owl - I would have been too busy ducking out of the way to even try and take a photo of it! Could the marching bands at the Goldolphin be celebrating the end of the works to the causeway? How nice to see the pod of dolphins too xx

    The Barn Owl wasn't that close - I was zoomed in quite a bit - was just really frustrated that I couldn't get it in focus because he was behind the Teasels etc then it flew too fast ! So wonderful to see it ! Sue
