Afternoon walkies

A gentle stroll along Boat Cove Lane and down to the coastal footpath.  It's time to start preparing the fields for the Early Potatoes
 Merlin helicopter from RNAS Culdrose

Gry Maritha making her way out of Mount's Bay
Two Hawks from RNAS Culdrose catching the lovely evening light

Nice to see two Pointers again
Being a Midlands born landlubber I'd always thought these bright patches were reflections from windows above - we were told this evening that they are shoals of fish shining in the low sun
Hope someone can tell us if that's correct

Nice and gentle high tide this evening
The sun slowly sinking after we got home
As I took this, something caught my eye
It was the Barn Owl that we have seen hunting over the fields at this time of day before
I tried to keep the camera on it, but the light wasn't good

Really thrilled to have been able to watch it as it flew low over the fields
Then it went too low and I lost sight of it
Nice sunset

  2. Tilly is looking much perkier - in fact we're having to hang on to her as she goes up & down the stairs to the garden as she still wants to race Wooster ! Sadly not as much sun expected today and I've just noticed that it has started to spot with rain.
Wish we saw more Pheasants - used to have them living in the fields around the house, but they disappeared - foxes I assume and now we never hear them at all.
Rather cold and still this morning, but a giant black cloud has just appeared, so it looks like it's going to rain. Sue
