Morning walkies

Not a bad morning as Jim walked the dogs up the hill

Still Half Term, so quite a few surfers in the water
Growing every day
Jim then left the dogs in the gardenroom as usual and went shopping, sadly when he got home he discovered that Tilly had somehow hurt herself whilst he had been away and although she could walk, she didn't want to go up the stairs and had her tail tightly underneath her - Jim phoned me up at Oamaru and I came home and we took her off to the Vets later in the afternoon.
Vet thinks it should ease over the weekend.

  1. Poor Tilley - but it's just impossible to get dogs to stay still and rest isn't it - our little Cocker cross was neutered before Christmas and the vet told us to keep her still when her stitches started leaking - it ended up with one of us sitting with her day and night, with her lying still (or at least as still as we could keep her) on our lap until she was past the worst and she'd started
to heal again - hope your Tilley ok and that it does ease over the weekend xx

    1. Tilly is looking much better today - thanks. Really strange thing to see - the Vet recognised what it was straight away - her tail was curled under her - whatever the problem is, it means that her back legs are a bit weaker than usual - as the tail nerves etc connect there. Just as we were thinking how well she was doing for her age. Rather comical that she's not limping at the moment as she's too busy thinking about her back legs ! Sue

    1. Yes, the house has really moved on this last week - although it's always all the internal fixings that really take the time. Tilly improving on her increased dose of tablets thanks ! Sue
