Afternoon walkies

Still nice and sunny, but the Northerly wind was really brutal in exposed spots
The surfers were still out there and the wind was really catching the waves
 Really unusual
Love seeing the colours of the rainbow in the spray

The sand has really been pushed back up the beach

  1. The pictures of the waves are wonderful, especially how you can see the rainbow effect. That is a pretty muddy path that you walk. How do you clean off the dogs' paws when you get home? Is it hosepipe or foot bath.
Pity us this weekend as a Santa Ana has started with very high temps and a hot wind that will wither all the spring foliage and new veggies.

  2. Strangely enough the dogs are often fairly dry by the time they get home as they only have short fur - we have "dog towels" which are used only for them - always filthy and don't look much better after washing lol. It's amazing how quickly the paths dry off again - we have the sandy soil to thank for that.
Have heard of the Santa Ana wind - hope you don't get any fires. Pity for the new foliage - in the UK the temperature has dropped so low frost is forecast again this week and temps in single figures - just as we thought Spring had arrived ! Sue
