and the harbour was looking rather nice !
I then drove to Newlyn to visit Trelawney Fish and bought 2 superb Hake fillets - must have been over 18" long - we cut them into portions and freeze them.
Amazing selection and only 500 metres from the Quay !

Nice colourful sight - with the fog blanking out Penzance in the background
RNLI Penlee Lifeboat, Ivan Ellen and the inshore Lifeboat Paul Alexander alongside the pontoonWe don't see many of these on our side of the bay - Lesser Black-Backed Gull - hanging around for the fish I assume
