Spring by the Tresillian River

Lots of Primroses in the sunshine
Sadly the tide was out - so it was all mud
The dogs always enjoy this walk, so we usually  bring them here when we need to go to Truro
The Water looked tempting, but it's brackish as it runs out of Tresemple Pool, which is topped up each high tide

Not many birds around as it's breeding season, just one Little Egret
 Tresemple Pool
I've not seem many of these in my life - a Comma Butterfly - rather a tatty one !
SAR Sea King from RNAS Culdrose came overhead
Several Shelducks around - they breed here and we have seen their tiny little chicks in the past

Spring is bursting out all over
 A few proper English Bluebells
This made us smile - a Tree Fungus looking like a porch roof over someones hole !
Almost at the end of the walk and we were really pleased to meet our old friends Bob & Wendy from Tresillian who we hadn't seen for a couple of years.  We had a lovely chat before heading back to the car and getting on with the reason for the trip - shopping at Aldi and The Range !
